Powering Sun Life Financials’ Enterprise Event Hub with Precisely Connect

Sun Life is a leading financial services organization dedicated to helping people achieve lifetime financial security and live healthier lives. Sun Life services clients worldwide and strives to provide the best experience, pushing their internal processes to undergo large-scale digital transformation.

They were tasked with developing a solution that would integrate data from their mission-critical mainframes to reduce the time and cost of delivering APIs. Additionally, Sun Life aimed to stream audio files to S3 through their call center application and then leverage a sync connector to move the data into an analytics workspace in AWS, where they’d train a machine learning model using Sagemaker.

Ultimately, Sun Life chose to leverage the capabilities of Precisely Connect to integrate all of their mainframe, audio, and other data with Confluent Kafka and AWS to build their real time solution. In the future, the analytics models in the call center will improve service-to-sell ratios, provide performance coaching, reduce dead air, and more.
