Precisely Summer Internship Program

Authors Photo Precisely Editor | January 27, 2025

Every year, Precisely’s Summer Internship Program welcomes a group of college students from around the world. These students join our global teams to learn the ins and outs of how our organization works, and how their role fits into the bigger picture.

As a result of their time with us, interns come away with valuable firsthand learnings and experience that they can apply immediately as they move forward with their education and career paths. The program is designed to ensure our interns:

  • are introduced to the different areas of business
  • learn how to work in a professional setting
  • grow through mentorship
  • learn more about themselves – and what kind of career they want to pursue

Read on to learn more about what some of our past summer interns had to say about their experience. As you’ll see, many even end up returning to the Precisely team in full-time positions!

David Hilton, Cloud Operations Intern – Associate Cloud Delivery Manager Today

“Throughout my internship, I was encouraged to explore other areas of the business that were outside of my Cloud Operations roll. This enabled me to take initiative, and I began working on additional projects that sparked my curiosity. Doing so was very rewarding and branching out was definitely my favorite part of the experience.”

Ethan George: Software Engineering Intern – Software Engineer Today

“The best part about working for Precisely this summer was realizing the significance of my project. I learned a lot about UI development and tools such as Storybook, while creating stylized components that are going to be used by Precisely web developers. I would recommend future interns to really capitalize on this trust that Precisely puts in their interns by working hard and learning every day.”

Heli Vyas, Product Marketing Intern – Product Marketing Manager Today

“My main takeaway from this experience has been practically learning what goes into cross-functional change management. Studying ‘why’ do we need this change, assessing if we have a gap, and if yes, then where? Connecting that to ‘how’ do we fill this gap then to ‘what’ resources do we need to fill it? It was an amazing learning experience.”

Will Kingston, Sales Intern – Associate Business Development Representative Today

“The best part of my internship this summer has been the feeling of being part of a team and having impact on that team. I’ve worked on so many projects that’ve been a great learning opportunity, but it wouldn’t be as impactful if I didn’t feel so supported and appreciated by the team. That feeling is unmatched.”

Marta Stachura: Globalization Intern – Globalization Release Manager Today

“The best part of my internship was definitely the people. I felt like part of the team from day one! As a Globalization intern, I explored the whole translation process from software creation through translation management to the end-product. I learned a lot of the technical aspects of the job and I had great teachers.”

Will Towle: Data Integration Intern – Associate Software Engineer Today

“The best part of my internship was experiencing the culture at Precisely. Every interaction I had was positive and I received thoughtful guidance from my leaders.”

Delaney Yau: Marketing Global Campaigns Intern

“My advice to future interns is to ask your manager to try new things, even if it’s not directly in your internship plan. I learned a lot by asking to work on other projects that I was curious about.”

Henry Chow: M&A Strategy and Transformation Intern

“I had two main takeaways from this experience. The first is general knowledge about how a corporate job works as well as the technical and business skills I developed along the way. The second takeaway is that I learned what I liked working on and what I didn’t like working on. I was lucky enough to work on multiple projects, which allowed me to understand what I enjoyed doing and what career path I want to pursue.”
