Anna Langhorne, Ph.D., Esq., is the Chief Privacy Officer at Precisely. In this role, she is responsible for elevating the company’s privacy and data protection program and for providing leadership for ethical data stewardship. At Precisely, she will be applying a privacy ethics lens to build a strong foundation in trust, data, and technologies that meets the requirements of international privacy and data protection laws and regulations, while making stewardship meaningful across the enterprise on an organizational level.
Anna brings over 20 years of experience in technology, research, and privacy and data protection compliance. Before joining Precisely, Anna served in several privacy roles, including Global Privacy Counsel at Regeneron, Global Privacy Officer at Biogen, and Privacy counsel at Boston Scientific Corporation. Prior to working in Privacy, Anna was a tenured professor at the University of Dayton where she conducted research in the areas of network-centric communication, virtual technologies, intercultural interfaces, and the strategic use of information communication technology (ICT) for information acquisition.
